The main aim of this course is to provide skills required for working in a medical environments or surgeries the course aims at equipping students with the requisite knowledge and skills to manage theatres and ICU’S in hospitals. Operation theatres technician prepare and maintain operating theatres and equipment, and assist surgical team during operations their main task is to assist Doctor and surgeon, transport patient to and from the theatre and ward, arranging instrument and restock the operating room.

This program is identified with all work and managements of the operation theatre. The program prepare students for managing the patients and in addition to observing the intricate details of an operation theatre. During the study , the students are responsible for caring for all the surgical instruments and additionally their disinfection. The role is to help the specialist amid operation and take care of the medication, anesthetic gases, curtains, and sterilisation necessities during surgery.  Smooth working of ICUs, CCUs and operation theatres in  healing facilities and centres, is also taught. The course prepare students for complete care of the surgical patients, pre and post operation, in the theatre and to assist the Anesthetist, surgeon or the nurse in various procedure.
